The Wolfe Island Historical Society is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the rich history and heritage of Wolfe Island. Every exhibit, event, publication, and project is made possible through the dedication of volunteers who share a passion for our island’s stories.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Museum Host
Help create a welcoming experience for visitors to the Old House Museum by greeting guests, sharing information about our exhibits and Wolfe Island’s history, assisting with admissions and merchandise sales, and answering visitor questions.
Flexible seasonal shifts available throughout the museum’s operating season.

No previous museum experience necessary, and you don’t need to be a history expert to volunteer with us. We provide orientation and support, and we will help you find a role that matches your interests, experience, and availability.
